I remember when I was growing up in Korea, one of the continuing lessons that I was taught was the fact that the world is a cold place where every nation has to do whatever it has to do to defend itself and the countries that are too weak to defend themselves almost deserve to be victimized.

With this logic, a lot of people in Korea seem to justify how Korea profited from the Vietnam war by selling weapons and human resources to US. I have to say I was one of them and there is still part of me that believe that what I was taught maybe cold and even a very cruel idea, but is very true indeed.

However, watching this film made me realize that artists can show that the cold reality doesn't have to be the reality we have to accept and that there are people who will fight for what they believe to be the right thing to do even though that is not necessarily how world works.
